Ashley - Director and head technician

As Co-Owner of the business with his wife Lin, Ashley has expanded and grown the business since 1989 from working on his own as a mobile mechanic to his current team of 4 where he is still very much “hands on” and an integral part of the team.

He firmly believes that the success of the business lies with his consistently high standards of customer service and honesty and has many loyal and returning lifelong customers. As well as his vast knowledge of cars and vans, Ashley is also very experienced with motorbikes, being a keen motorcyclist himself since he was 16. His main hobby outside of work is boating – ones with engines of course!
 

Alan - Service technician

Always greeting our customers with a smile on his face Alan has worked for us for many years as our service technician. He likes to keep the garage in ship shape order and if there is anyone to be seen with the broom in his hand it will always be Alan! In his spare time Alan is a true family man and enjoys spending time with his grandchildren.

Alun - MOT tester and mechanic

Alun and Ashley have worked together since they were 20 when they were both working for Subaru and Isuzu at the very garage which is now ACG Auto Repairs Ltd!! When he moved to Fareham he worked for a Mazda/Rover dealership for many years. Having now relocated back to Gloucestershire he works for us as a mechanic/MOT Tester with a wealth of knowledge under his belt. He has built his own kit car and has an interest in American muscle cars.
 

Luke - Apprentice mechanic

Keeping it a family business, Luke is the directors’ son and is currently serving the final year of his apprenticeship. He is very talented in vehicle diagnostics and has a vast knowledge of and passion for Honda’s. He has built his own car’s engine from scratch and enjoys motorsport and car shows, even showing his own modified car at specialist events.
